Introduction

The European Union’s General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) – Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016, establishes the rules on the protection of personal data of natural persons, being directly applicable in the legal order of all Member States, and imposing a series of duties that are aimed, in particular, at public legal persons. In Portugal, Law 58/2019 of 8 August is still in force, which ensures the implementation of the GDPR.

Horse Vet Algarve is committed to protecting the personal data of its users – particularly those who have dealings with it. That is why it has drawn up this Privacy and Data Processing Policy.

The Privacy Policy applies to data collected and processed by Horse Vet Algarve in the course of its duties.

In addition, all data processing operations will be carried out in strict compliance with the applicable legal principles, specifically in terms of their circulation, loyalty, transparency, minimisation, etc.
